Our team is looking for an associate consultant for our Group Benefits practice. This is a permanent, full-time position at our Toronto office.

Your mission

  • Perform various analyses, and prepare and peer review calculations and reports to ensure the quality and accuracy of our recommendations.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to internal and external client requests, directing more complex cases to the appropriate people.
  • Keep your colleagues informed of your progress and any difficulties you encounter.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client needs and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure continual monitoring of market developments and new regulations.
  • Suggest improvements to processes, policies and standards when deemed relevant.
  • Help plan work that concerns you, including quality reviews and preparations for meetings with internal teams or providers.
  • Follow up on pending questions proactively and autonomously.
  • Plan and prioritize your workload for the short term, while considering your team’s annual cycles.
  • Participate in internal projects such as the development of expertise and tools.

To be eligible for this position, you must have some experience in a similar role with a broker, a consulting firm or an insurance company. An academic background in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics or business administration is an asset.
