Cybersecurity Analyst, Information Systems and Security (ISS)

As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a cybersecurity analyst to join our Montreal office as a permanent, full-time employee with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days at the office). This position reports to the Director of Information Technology, who approves initiatives and sets IT security priorities.

Your mission:

  • Ensure operational implementation of security measures: access management, alert monitoring, process compliance, participation in security audits and projects, and adoption of best practices in collaboration with the Director of IT.
  • Monitor the security posture of IT environments and analyze vulnerabilities.
  • Help analyze and investigate security alerts (EDR, SIEM, DLP) and track incidents.
  • Participate in security posture reviews and make practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with external cybersecurity partners and service providers on various projects.
  • Coordinate IT security activities and monitor the implementation of corrective measures and action plans.
  • Manage and develop the cybersecurity awareness platform.
  • Support employees through one-on-one meetings to provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
  • Continuously watch for new cybersecurity developments and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and the deployment of new IT security solutions.

Competencies sought:

  • At least five (5) years of experience in information technology, including cybersecurity experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of vulnerabilities, security posture and alert monitoring.
  • Ability to collaborate with third parties and technology providers with ease.

  • Bilingual (English and French). Fluency in spoken and written English is required, as the incumbent will frequently be in contact with English-speaking clients.
