As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking for a cybersecurity analyst to join our Montreal office as a permanent, full-time employee with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days at the office). This position reports to the Director of Information Technology, who approves initiatives and sets IT security priorities.

Your mission:

Ensure operational implementation of security measures: access management, alert monitoring, process compliance, participation in security audits and projects, and adoption of best practices in collaboration with the Director of IT.
Monitor the security posture of IT environments and analyze vulnerabilities.
Help analyze and investigate security alerts (EDR, SIEM, DLP) and track incidents.
Participate in security posture reviews and make practical recommendations.
Collaborate with external cybersecurity partners and service providers on various projects.
Coordinate IT security activities and monitor the implementation of corrective measures and action plans.
Manage and develop the cybersecurity awareness platform.
Support employees through one-on-one meetings to provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
Continuously watch for new cybersecurity developments and vulnerabilities.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and the deployment of new IT security solutions.

Competencies sought:

At least five (5) years of experience in information technology, including cybersecurity experience.
A bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
Solid understanding of vulnerabilities, security posture and alert monitoring.
Ability to collaborate with third parties and technology providers with ease.
