Our Pension Plan Administration practice is looking for an analyst to help expand its team. This is a permanent, hybrid position based in Montreal.

What your day would look like

under the supervision of experienced specialists:

  • Calculating membership termination, retirement and death benefits, as well as assignment of benefits for various clients
  • Updating financial data and producing annual statements
  • Analyzing and understanding plan texts and related laws
  • Verifying member data and ensuring the quality of the work submitted
  • Producing pension adjustments and pension adjustment reversals
  • Preparing payment authorizations
  • Reconciling pension payments and population movements
  • Preparing and sending communications to clients and/or members
  • Answering questions from employees and providing them with support
  • Participating in process improvement

What you need to succeed:

A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or a related field

  • Ability to manage several projects at a time and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in the main Microsoft Office Suite programs and openness to technological change
  • Command of spoken and written French and basic fluency in English Fluency in written and spoken English is required, as the incumbent will frequently be in contact with English-speaking internal clients, partners and providers
