Our team is looking for an Associate Consultant – Pension to fill a permanent full-time position at our Montreal or Quebec City office.

Your mission:

  • Perform high-quality actuarial consulting work, particularly concerning pension plans, in an autonomous manner while using appropriate work methods.
  • Play an active role in the projects carried out by the Pension practice, from planning and tracking timelines to preparing for meetings and presentations for internal and external clients.
  • Master the tools used by the Pension practice and suggest improvements to existing tools.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the legislation applicable to pension plan funding and the various accounting standards for financial statements.
  • Perform all the work of your specialty and begin to delegate and revise analysts’ work.
  • Transfer your knowledge to colleagues who are under development and analysts.
  • Present the results of completed work to your colleagues and explain the chosen methods in a clear and concise manner.
  • Propose solutions to problems or consult the appropriate people to resolve them.

Requirements:

You must hold a university degree in actuarial science and have from three (3) to six (6) years of relevant work experience in the field:

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science
  • Relevant experience in pension consulting services
