About the role

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources and Administrative Services, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for all of the firm’s recruitment activities. Both strategic and operational, this key role directly contributes to Normandin Beaudry’s growth by attracting top-tier talent and ensuring an outstanding candidate experience that reflects our organizational culture and values. This position is based in Montreal.

Main responsibilities

Strategy and talent acquisition

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business needs
  • Monitor recruitment and market trends on an ongoing basis, especially within Canada’s consulting industry
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with universities, professional associations and recruitment firms
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop recruitment campaigns and promote the employer brand, including managing social media

Attracting and recruiting top talent

  • Support managers at every stage of the recruitment process
  • Define requirements and optimize job postings
  • Identify, pre-screen and evaluate candidates
  • Plan and coordinate pre-employment interviews, tests and background checks
  • Advise managers to help them make informed hiring decisions
  • Provide a distinctive candidate experience
  • Ensure thorough and personalized follow-up with candidates throughout the process
  • Make the most of every interaction to strengthen our employer brand
  • Contribute to the firm’s reputation as an employer of choice

University recruiting and events

  • Take a leadership role on the internal university recruitment committee
  • Plan, organize and participate in job fairs and university events
  • Organize and participate in recruitment activities (networking events, targeted events)

Internal collaboration

  • Work closely with the human resources team to prepare job postings
  • Coordinate with the human resources team to plan the onboarding and integration of new employees
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in talent acquisition
  • Manage recruitment performance indicators

Profile required

  • Exceptional rigour and strong follow-up skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Methodical and structured approach
  • Enthusiasm, high energy and a passion for recruitment
  • Strong ability to thrive in a complex and constantly changing environment
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Collaborative spirit and consulting-focused approach

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in talent acquisition (ideally in a professional or consulting setting)
  • Good knowledge of the Canadian job market with a view to increasing the firm’s visibility across Canada
  • Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written)
  • Experience in strategic and operational recruitment
  • Experience in University recruiting
