We are looking for a bright, motivated big data and business intelligence specialist to join our growing Innovation and Software Solutions team.

In this role you will be participating in phase two of building Normandin Beaudry’s data warehouse in order to better serve our clients, build data analysis models and optimize the efficiency of our practices.

Under the team’s guidance, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Carry out data warehouse design and modelling.
  • Automate and supervise data loading mechanisms.
  • Ensure data security and access.
  • Design, create and update Power BI reports.

Requirements needed for the role:

  • A college diploma or university degree in computer science, IT engineering, or in a related field, combined with 1-3 years of relevant experience in data processing and business intelligence or in a related field.
  • Prior consulting experience (asset)

  • Advanced knowledge of the following software is a prerequisite:
      • Microsoft Office 365
      • Microsoft Fabric
      • Microsoft Power BI (DAX and Power Query)
      • SQL Server and T-SQL language
      • SQL Server Analysis Services (Tabular model)
      • SQL Server Integration Services
      • SQL Server Reporting Services

 

  • Advanced knowledge of the following software is considered an asset:
      • Microsoft Azure DevOps
      • Microsoft Azure Data Lake and Data Factory
      • .NET Framework and Core, C#
      • R and Python

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, as you will be frequently in contact with English-speaking clients.
