We are looking for a Quality Assurance and Business Analysis Consultant for our Pension Plan Administration practice at our Montreal office.
In this key role, you will directly influence our pension plan administration solutions in terms of business needs and quality. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to transform and enhance our pension administration software solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and deep understanding of the specificities of this sector.
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for processing payroll and administering employee benefits while providing outstanding customer service to employees.

Your mission
In this dual-role position, you will contribute to both requirements analysis and quality assurance for a pension plan administration solution:
Part 1: Quality assurance
- Plan, write, and execute test scenarios to validate the functionality and compliance of the solution against defined requirements.
- Identify and document anomalies, propose corrective measures, and collaborate with relevant teams for continuous improvement.
- Verify the quality of outputs produced by the solution, including calculation results (benefits, annual calculations, online simulations).
- Participate in improving and executing regression tests to ensure that modifications do not affect previous results.
Part 2: Solution analysis
- Gather and analyze business needs from internal teams and external clients.
- Assess the functional requirements needed for the development and implementation of the pension plan solution.
- Document processes, use cases, and specific requirements related to pension plan administration.
- Collaborate with concerned parties to ensure a shared understanding of functionalities to be developed and implemented.
- Actively participate in the design and implementation of the solution.
- Observations from quality assurance should influence the analysis of future tool improvements, and conversely, analyzed business needs and requirements will have a direct impact on the tests performed.
You must hold a university degree in business administration, actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, and demonstrate that you have the following:
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in Canadian pension plans and their administration.
- Experience in analyzing plan provisions and business processes AND/OR experience in quality assurance in the pension administration field.
- University degree in business administration, actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
