Principal, disability management and occupational health

We’re looking for an experienced consultant who is driven to improve the health of employees in our client companies to join our growing Health team.


To help our clients optimize employee attendance, you will be called upon to propose solutions as to the design, planning and operations of disability management and health and wellness strategies. These strategies include assessing the performance of disability management insurers and service providers, improving disability management, design and renewal of health and well-being programs and tracking the performance of health and disability programs.


In collaboration with the Health team leader and your colleagues, your main responsibilities will include:


  • Contribute to the practice’s success through your expertise, business development abilities and client management skills.
  • Advise clients directly in complex and strategic matters
  • Have a full understanding of the different matters and projects.
  • Manage activities and resources in complex matters as well as optimize talent and resources
  • Contribute to the overall development of the professionals assigned to different projects
  • Be accountable for project profitability
  • Oversee the development of new business (current or prospective clients)
  • Prepare service proposals and presentations for clients and prospects
  • Actively participate in external visibility events (conferences, expert panels, etc.)
  • Oversee certain products/tools/areas of expertise
  • Develop new approaches or improve current processes
  • Collaborate with the Compensation, Health and Communication teams to propose integrated health management solutions


  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, management or finance with an interest in health OR
  • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (occupational therapy, kinesiology, etc.) with corporate experience and an interest in business OR
  • A master’s degree or other graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Corporate experience is considered an asset

  • Ability to adjust quickly, be flexible and deal with ambiguity
  • Capacity to solve complex problems, understand all aspects of a given situation and easily come up with solutions
  • Aptitude for conveying clear information and for training other team members
  • Client-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement, quality and excellence
  • Ability to manage several projects at a time and meet occasionally tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in the main Office Suite programs and openness to technological change
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and basic fluency in English
