Consultant, disability management and occupational health

We are looking for a bright, motivated Consultant to join our growing Health team.


To help our clients optimize employee attendance, you will be called upon to propose solutions as to the design, planning and operations of disability management and health and well-being strategies. These strategies include assessing the performance of disability management insurers and service providers, improving disability management, overseeing the design and renewal of health and well-being programs and tracking the performance of health and disability programs.


In collaboration with your colleagues and under the supervision of partners, your main responsibilities will include:


  • Plan and manage projects under your responsibility, including follow-ups with the internal work team and the client
  • Carry out quality work and research
  • Anticipate the needs of clients and projects touching the main aspects of the expertise
  • Propose recommendations and solutions to the client’s contact and directly to the client depending on the complexity of the situation.
  • Understand the client’s goals and propose/use the necessary means to achieve them.
  • Actively participate in client meetings
  • Actively participate in team spirit
  • Coach, train and share your knowledge and expertise with other team members
  • Monitor industry news and trends to develop solutions suited to the client’s needs
  • Collaborate with the Group Benefits, Performance, and Communication teams to propose holistic health solutions
  • Prepare service proposals and presentations for clients and prospects
  • Possibility of assuming responsibility for a tool under your specialty and see to its growth.
  • Possibility of taking active part in external visibility events (conferences, expert panels, etc.)


  • At least five years of relevant experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, management or finance with an interest in health OR
  • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (occupational therapy, kinesiology, etc.) with an interest in business OR
  • A master’s degree or other graduate degree in a relevant field

  • Capacity to solve complex problems, understand all aspects of a given situation and easily come up with solutions

  • Proficiency in the main Office Suite programs and openness to technological change
  • Native proficiency in spoken and written French and solid grasp of English
