We are looking for a bright, motivated consultant with experience who wants to improve employee health in organizations and help our Health team grow.


To help our clients improve employee attendance and performance, you will be called upon to propose solutions related to the design, planning and operation of disability management and health and wellness programs and initiatives. You will be tasked with implementing strategies that focus on occupational and/or non-occupational disability management, the improvement of internal processes, and the measurement of disability program and provider performance.


In collaboration with your colleagues, your main responsibilities will include:


  • Planning and managing projects under your responsibility, including follow-ups with the internal work team and the client and their service providers, if any
  • Proposing recommendations and solutions based on the complexity of the situation
  • Understanding the client’s goals and business conditions and proposing or using the necessary means to achieve those goals.
  • Helping the practice succeed with your expertise and business development or client management skills
  • Managing performance and improving the services offered by our clients’ various service providers (providers of insurance, disability case management, employee assistance program, telemedicine and other services)
  • Monitoring industry news and trends to develop solutions suited to clients’ needs
  • Actively contributing to team spirit. Coaching, training and sharing your knowledge and expertise with other team members
  • Collaborating with the Group Benefits, Performance and Communication teams to propose integrated health management solutions
  • Assuming responsibility for a tool within your specialty and seeing to its growth
  • Taking active part in external visibility events (conferences, expert panels, etc.)


  • To be considered, you must meet the following minimal requirements:
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience
    • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, industrial relations, administration, management, law or finance with an interest in health
  • OR
    • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (ergotherapy, kinesiology, nursing, etc.) with an interest in business
  • OR
    • A master’s degree or other graduate degree in a relevant field and business or consulting experience would be an asset
  • You must also demonstrate the following abilities:
    • Business acumen and ability to prioritize
    • Ability to adjust quickly and to deal with ambiguity
    • Capacity to solve complex problems, understand all aspects of a given situation and easily come up with solutions
    • Aptitude for conveying clear information and for training other team members
    • Client-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement, quality and excellence
    • Ability to manage several projects at once and meet tight deadlines
    • Accountability for the projects assigned to you, within the agreed-upon deadlines
    • Full adherence to Normandin Beaudry’s values: excellence, respect, initiative, collegiality
    • Native proficiency in spoken and written French
    • Fluency in functional English, both spoken and written, is required as the incumbent will have frequent dealings with clients whose business language is English
