MBWL International’s 2026 Global Benefits Forecast Survey  

For five years now, we’ve asked leaders from around the world about their priorities and views around key aspects of employee benefits and how these views change and shift over time.

Last year, more than 200 international organizations participated in MBWL International’s Global Benefits Forecast Survey, a critical tool for sparking reflection, benchmarking with peers, and planning for the future.  

What major challenges lie ahead in 2026?

The survey, which covers a range of critical topics for global benefits and total rewards leaders, is divided into three sections:   

1. Benefits Strategy & Priorities – including topics such as effective global benefits management, cost management, priority setting, and M&A processes 
2. Operational Challenges, Compliance & Risk Management – including topics such as benefits administration, staying abreast of legislative changes, and regulatory risk management 
3. Innovation, Technology & the Evolving Workforce – including topics such as AI and technology adoption, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and employee support
    

Designed to be brief, the survey should take around 15 minutes to complete and will remain open until January 16.   

Webinars will be held to reveal the main findings of the global survey. Only organizations that took part in the 2026 survey will have access to the results.
